Our Mission
We believe that every human life is a script worth reading.
In collaboration with Women Aid Trust and NUST Business School, DaakDabba serves as both a literal and metaphorical post box, carrying handcrafted artifacts and raw, handwritten narratives from behind prison walls directly into your hands. Through storytelling and craftsmanship, we aim to transform silence into connection, confinement into creativity, and stigma into shared humanity.
Each box you open is an act of liberation. alongside a letter a fragment of a soul that has finally been given the wings to fly.
Our Impact Model
At its core, DaakDabba operates as a social enterprise anchored in empowerment and narrative justice.
By channeling creativity into tangible products and personal storytelling, we generate meaningful economic and emotional opportunities for female inmates. Each DaakDabba box represents much more than a simple purchase, it is an active participation in a movement that restores agency, builds confidence, and reconnects forgotten voices with society.
